Job Title

Senior Linux System Administrator.

An exceptional Senior Linux System Administrator is required to ensure seamless infrastructure operation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in implementing and maintaining hardware, servers, and virtual machines for optimal performance.

The selected individual will be responsible for performing regular maintenance, upgrades, patches, and firmware updates to prevent downtime. They will also provide prompt and thorough technical support, including root cause analysis and testing, to resolve issues efficiently.

This role involves driving automation and suggesting process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, the successful candidate will create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, implementations, and support activities to ensure knowledge sharing.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, the following qualifications are necessary:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent field of study.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Prior experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments, performance troubleshooting, and capacity planning is highly desirable.

A minimum intermediate level of knowledge/responsibility on Redhat/Centos and expert-level knowledge of UNIX/Linux (L3) and automation/configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Python is essential.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about Linux system administration and have the expertise to maintain our infrastructure while driving business growth.
