Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Infrastructure Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess experience in monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure, as well as effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Monitoring: Regularly monitor CPU, memory, hard disk size, log size, and other vital server parameters to ensure optimal performance.
  • Performance Issue Reporting: Report any performance issues on the servers to the appropriate teams if beyond thresholds.
  • Scheduled Task Management: Monitor scheduled tasks on the system and ensure their successful completion.
  • Task Rerun and Error Reporting: Rerun failed tasks and report technical errors to L2/L3 teams for resolution.
  • Communication and Ticketing: Monitor email, Teams channel, and ticketing system for new items/tickets, update them with initial responses, gather additional details as needed, and reproduce issues in testing environments.

Required Skills:

  • Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in responding to customers within defined SLAs.
  • Tech Background: Technical background in Java, Scripting is an added advantage.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently, with minimal downtime.
  • Time Management: Effective time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Years of Experience:

3 - 5 Years of experience in a similar role.
