Senior Golang Backend Developer Position

Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Golang Backend Developer to be a key member of our development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development
    • Develop scalable and efficient backend services using Golang, following best practices for clean, maintainable, and testable code.
    • Implement architectural design and develop high-performance microservices, APIs, and applications.
  • Architecture and Optimization
    • Architect scalable microservices, RESTful APIs, and database systems.
    • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security through strategic planning.
  • Collaboration and Leadership
    • Work collaboratively with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
    • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging
    • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues efficiently.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of backend development experience, with at least 5+ years in Golang programming language.
  • Strong understanding of concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning in Golang.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and API development.
  • Proficiency in databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra).
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with GraphQL or gRPC protocols.
  • Knowledge of event-driven systems.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
