Senior Project Architect

A leading global architecture and design firm is seeking a Senior Project Architect to join its founding leadership team in Mumbai. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the technical delivery of projects, managing client relationships, and ensuring adherence to global quality standards.

Job Description

As a Senior Project Architect, you will oversee the end-to-end project duration, maintaining day-to-day client project contact and being responsible for all aspects of our client's technical service delivery. You will lead the design team and client meetings, produce detailed meeting minutes, and prepare, maintain, and monitor project design programs. You will also communicate resource needs to account managers and associates, manage project-related financials and resourcing data, and maintain the Project Quality Control System.

  • Lead contract administration process and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage safety and well-being of the team.
  • Undertake employee reviews and support training, development, and growth of individuals.
  • Mentor junior staff and participate in recruitment and inductions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (or equivalent built environment discipline) and be registered as an Architect in India. They will have 8-12 years of architectural experience, with demonstrated project leadership across all work stages, proficiency in Revit and other design software, and experience in large-scale projects across sectors such as Data Centres, Retail, Hospitality, Workplace, and Logistics. Strong knowledge of Indian building codes, zoning regulations, and statutory compliance is essential, along with excellent communication skills in English.
