Job Title:

A technical leader with expertise in engineering management is required to oversee the development of exceptional products and solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead high-performing teams to deliver product commitments, participate in roadmap discussions, and provide inputs on design, modelling, and architectural decisions.
  • Drive efficiency and productivity to produce high-quality output in the development of new products, solutions, and processes.
  • Define non-functional requirements and build systems that meet those requirements, perform design and code reviews.
  • Enhance quality of code and design using tools and techniques, suggest best design and implementation methodologies.
  • Collaborate with other team leaders and departments, build and develop required competence in the team.
  • Mentor team members and prepare them for future roles.
Requirements:
  • Experience & Portfolio:
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering
    • 7-15 years of experience in delivery, development, and team management
    • Minimum 4-5 years of experience working with EVM, Android-related technology
    • Minimum 4-5 years of experience working with frontend technologies like EMV knowledge, Android POS development experience
    • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working with mobile technologies like Android
    • Good understanding of commonly used databases like SQL, NoSQL
  • Technical skills & efficiency:
    • Personnel and project management skills
    • Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes
    • Organizational, planning, and documentation skills
    • Ability to explain complex information to non-technical personnel and stakeholders
    • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
    • Past use of Agile/Scrum or similar collaborative tools a plus
    • Ability to create qualifications for new products
    • Proficient in stakeholder management and conflict resolution
    • Experience in fintech space an advantage
  • Communication & Ownership:
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously
    • Adaptability: Comfortable with dynamic requirements
