Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Our organization is seeking a seasoned data engineer to assume a leadership role in designing, constructing and optimizing large-scale data processing systems.

This highly skilled professional will be responsible for spearheading the development of complex data pipelines that collect, process and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer science or a related field, coupled with at least 5 years of experience in data engineering.

Proficiency in SQL, as well as expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java or Scala, are essential for this position.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have a deep understanding of big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, Kafka and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines
  • Architect and implement data warehouses, data lakes and other storage solutions
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data systems meet their needs
  • Mentor and guide junior data engineers
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in data engineering
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java or Scala
