Transformative Data Modeling Expertise for High-Performance Architecture

About the Role:

We seek a seasoned data modeling expert to spearhead the design and implementation of high-performance, scalable data architectures.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop complex dimensional data models for analytics services
  • Create effective ETLs/ELTs to move large volumes of data from operational systems to dimensional data models
  • Act as principal designer and reviewer for new data models, making data architectural decisions
  • Collaborate with database engineering and DBAs to create optimal physical data models
  • Manage data modeling repository and process, supporting model-driven development
  • Define and govern data modeling/design standards, tools, best practices, and related methodologies
  • Champion Data Lineage, Metadata Management, and Data Quality Analysis processes

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience with hybrid data environments leveraging distributed and relational database technologies
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, architecture, and implementation in complex environments
  • Excellent data analysis skills and good experience in OLTP and OLAP systems
  • Good understanding of one or more ETL tools and data ingestion frameworks
  • Experience leading large teams and operating effectively in dynamic environments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience relating complex concepts to non-technical users

  • Expert knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling techniques
  • Able to develop and maintain data models that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
  • Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data quality analysis
