Business Development Manager

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a challenging and rewarding role as a Business Development Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of existing and prospective clients to meet sales targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Maintain Client Portfolios: Develop and maintain a portfolio of existing and prospective clients to meet sales targets.
  2. Source and Secure New Business Opportunities: Source and secure new business opportunities to drive growth for our products, in line with set targets.
  3. Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and advice to ensure client satisfaction at the highest level.
  4. Manage Individual Portfolios and Databases: Manage individual portfolios and databases of prospects, current clients, and past clients within a 90-120 day timeframe.
  5. Contribute to Sales & Marketing Planning: Contribute to the development of the Annual Sales & Marketing plan, focusing on key target customers or groups in assigned areas or locations.
  6. Collections and Credit Terms: Work with Accounts Receivable to collect on accounts and establish credit terms that promote payment and retain customers.
  7. Leadership and Team Management: Lead teams of Area Sales Managers, Assistant ASM, and BDMs to achieve area potential.
  8. Customer Engagement: Ensure effective communication with potential customers to identify business opportunities and provide solutions.
  9. Operational Excellence: Drive operational and tactical goals with excellence, inspiring leadership and team members to achieve their best performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Product Demonstrations: Demonstrate experience in product demonstrations (SaaS industry), if applicable.
  • Strong Team Leading Skills: Utilize strong team leading skills to help team members meet targets and achieve company objectives.
