Job Title:IT Infrastructure Specialist

     Key Responsibilities include performing Linux administration, such as user management and system resource checks. MySQL administration is also a critical aspect of this role, including installation, configuration, upgrades, replication setup/monitoring, and user management. Database health monitoring, troubleshooting metadata locks, slow queries, replication lag, and performance optimization are all essential duties in this position. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring backup and recovery processes using tools like mysqldump or Percona XtraBackup, as well as performing routine patching, upgrades, and security hardening for both MySQL and Linux environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with MySQL and Linux systems
  • Knowledge of database administration concepts, including data modeling, normalization, and indexing
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as Bash or Python
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
