Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ELV Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building automation, fire alarm, and security system design for data centers and industrial projects.

  • This role involves the design of BMS, chiller plant automation, fire detection, PA, telecom, and security systems for data center or industrial projects.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for selecting the best-suited instruments or devices and their specifications for building automation, fire alarm, and security system design.
  • Key responsibilities also include preparing basis of design, BMS IO summaries, sequences of operations for various systems, cause-and-effect matrices for fire alarm systems, and detail drawings for field devices and cable conduit layouts.
  • Tender documents with relevant design, technical specifications, material requisitions, data sheets, and BOQs as per requirements will also need to be prepared.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in handling ELV design activities in data-center or industrial projects is required.
  • BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering is essential.
  • Familiarity with Data Center Master Plan, Concept, Schematics, and good understanding of TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers are also required.
  • Hands-on experience of Indian and International codes for design is necessary.
  • Self-driven individuals with good management and reporting capabilities are preferred.
  • Proficiency in review of 3D models using Navisworks is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of ELV codes and standards, IS/IEC standards, and proficiency in 3D engineering are essential skills for this role.
