Shopify Front-End Developer

We are seeking a talented developer with experience in Shopify and JavaScript to take on the challenge of building and maintaining the client side of our e-commerce platform.

  • Developing and customizing Shopify themes using DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript, complex CSS, Liquid, and meta fields is a key responsibility.
  • Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimizing them for maximum speed and scalability requires strong analytical skills.
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use is essential for efficient development.
  • Collaborating with the development team to ensure the timely completion of projects involves effective communication and project management skills.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies and applying them to development requires continuous learning and professional growth.

Key Requirements:

  • Shopify experience is a must.
  • DOM manipulation skills are essential.
  • CSS expertise is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Git is necessary for version control.
  • Liquid framework experience is a must.
  • Asynchronous JavaScript knowledge and experience are required.
  • GraphQL and React.js skills are desired.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub is necessary.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Shopify, including Liquid syntax, Shopify Objects, customizer, meta fields, and the Shopify admin panel.
  • Experience working with JavaScript and related libraries, such as jQuery and Vue.js.
  • Knowledge of DOM manipulation and advanced CSS selectors.
  • Familiarity with responsive design and media queries.
