Job Overview

As a Unix Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing L2 and L3-level support for Unix in a mission-critical banking environment.

Our ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Unix, AIX, Power, HMC, VIOS, and other related technologies.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to resolve complex issues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including PCI DSS and SWIFT.
  • Operate under ITIL processes to ensure incident, change, problem, and knowledge management.
  • Maintain high availability, performance, and security of our Unix systems.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Unix system administration and troubleshooting.
  • AIX, Power, HMC, VIOS, and other related technologies.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • ITIL certification.
  • Experience with DR/BCP drills.
  • Knowledge of security best practices.
