Job Title: System Engineer for Climate Control Systems

Sustainable transportation solutions require collaboration between experts. Imagine working with next-generation technologies and teams to shape the future of transport infrastructure.

This role involves defining CAB climate functions, interacting closely with thermal cooling and heating engineers to meet brand requirements for driver experience and cabin climate functions like seat heating/ventilation, steering wheel heating/windshield heating.

  • Create a level 4 (system) time plan, including cross-functional milestones using APQP as a supporting process
  • Manage Q-Tools such as D-FMEA, S-FMEA, risk register, DFA, and DFAM
  • Take full engineering responsibility, independently complete tasks and guide junior team members in thermal management groups
  • Initiate and lead advanced engineering work within area of responsibility

We offer opportunities for extended responsibilities and support other system engineers in setting/system architecture for e-Mob, H2 ICE, fuel cell trucks evolution.

  • Collaborate with mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, software, simulation, and data engineers to integrate cooling/heating systems
  • Participate in and plan testing/validation of cooling/heating systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Troubleshoot/resolve issues related to cooling/heating system performance/effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in Thermal/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or similar with more than 10 years of experience
  • Experience in thermal management system engineering CAB Climate
  • In-depth knowledge of product development life cycle and change management activities required for this role
