Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled financial leader to oversee the strategic planning and operational performance of our Retail and Online Business units.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position that requires strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving financial growth, improving profitability, and ensuring operational excellence across our business segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, perform variance analysis, scenario planning, and KPI tracking to support strategic decision-making, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and cost control.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to drive pricing strategies, promotional planning, and inventory optimization, support expansion initiatives, including new store openings and digital platform investments.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, monitor and enforce internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, coordinate with external auditors during statutory audits.
  • Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Monitor cash flow projections and working capital requirements, optimize inventory and receivables to improve cash conversion cycles.
  • Systems & Process Improvements: Drive automation and efficiency in financial reporting and analytics, recommend and implement financial systems and tools as needed.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in a finance leadership role, preferably in retail or eCommerce sectors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, SAP) and financial modeling in Excel
