Advanced Avionics Engineer Role

As an Advanced Systems Engineer, you play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing advanced avionics systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and certification of these systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading design and development of advanced avionics systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Conducting system-level analysis and optimization
  • Staying updated with the latest avionics technologies
  • Providing technical guidance and support to team members

Requirements include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in avionics engineering or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of avionics systems and design principles
  • Proficiency in avionics simulation and analysis tools
  • Experience with avionics integration and certification processes

Valued skills include:

  • A Master's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Experience working with customers for systems requirements definition and systems integration testing
  • Experience in leading advanced avionics system development projects
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for avionics systems
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The ideal candidate will have expertise in avionics engineering and systems integration, knowledge of DO178, ARP 4754, and ARP 4761, and experience with system-level analysis and optimization.
