Accounting Professional Role

Gaining international experience as a junior accountant in overseas companies provides a stimulating environment to develop skills and expertise. The role of a junior accountant involves auditing, accounting, and financial reporting, which includes preparing documentation, testing transactions, and drafting financial statements and schedules.

This position also entails taxation and compliance, supporting tax filings and preparation of compliance documentation.

In addition, it requires staying updated on accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory changes through research and interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit & Financial Reporting: Prepare documentation, test transactions, and draft financial statements and schedules.
  • Taxation & Compliance: Support tax filings and compliance documentation preparation.
  • Research & Standards Interpretation: Stay updated on accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory changes.
Requirements:
  • Education: Pursuing or completed degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or IPCC/IPC qualification in progress.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with GAAP, IFRS, and proficiency in Excel, Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks.
  • Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, effective communication, teamwork, and time management.
