DC Operations Manager

The purpose of this role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of a data center, ensuring high uptime and meeting customer requirements. The DC Operations Manager will be responsible for managing critical situations, maintaining reliability and efficiency, and owning Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

This role involves overseeing multiple teams, ensuring smooth execution of planned and unplanned activities within timeframes. The manager will also track complaints, manage incidents, and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with recommendations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead shift teams and ensure timely completion of tasks with effective communication.
  • Track and resolve customer complaints within SLA deviations.
  • Manage incident response, perform RCA, and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee asset management, warranties, AMC, lifecycle, and capacity management.
  • Monitor 5 PPM tracking and completion with OEMs, ensuring 100% equipment availability.
  • Manage vendors, RAT, and TAT on complaints, ensuring redundant equipment uptime.
  • Track and maintain inventory records in accordance with BCP requirements.
  • Coordinate with CE teams for customer inquiries and submit reports on time.
  • Maintain 100% compliance with periodic trackers.
  • Adhere to physical security processes.
  • Prepare risk assessments and validate updates based on incidents and RCAs.
  • Update inventories regularly, balancing capacity, stock, and customer details on rack inventories.
  • Submit reports on time according to agreed timelines.
  • Ensure 100% audit and compliance.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in HSE principles.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 7+ years of progressive experience in data center and/or critical facilities management.
  • Solid technical background, understanding, and hands-on experience in data center infrastructure.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
