Senior Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS) Developer

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS) Developer to spearhead the development of custom web and mobile applications integrated with Oracle Fusion Cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VBS, JavaScript-based UI development, and Fusion REST API integrations.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in web application development, with at least 10 years of technical experience, including 2+ years of hands-on experience in VBS. They should be well-versed in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, REST/SOAP APIs, and have experience working with Oracle Fusion SaaS modules.

The role requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  1. Design and build custom web and mobile apps using Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS)
  2. Extend Oracle Fusion Cloud UI via embedded VBS components, page composer, or application composer
  3. Create dynamic UIs using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Oracle JET components
  4. Integrate with Oracle Fusion REST APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and external systems
  5. Implement OAuth2-secured API calls, business logic, validations, and data formatting in VBS
  6. Use Git/GitHub for source control and versioning
  7. Set up and manage deployment pipelines in Oracle Visual Builder Studio or external CI/CD tools
  8. Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues across different environments (Dev/Test/Prod)
  9. Prepare and maintain technical design documents (TDDs), configuration guides, and user documentation
  10. Enforce best practices in naming conventions, reusability, and secure coding standards
  11. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers in VBS and modern web design practices
  12. Support UAT, go-live, and post-production support
