Order Management Expert

As an Order Management Expert, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional order fulfillment services to our customers. You will be responsible for daily booking of customer purchase orders in SAP, managing orders through the system, and resolving associated customer queries.

The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a customer-first mentality. They will also have experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, and CRM systems, like Salesforce.

  • Process email Purchase Orders from end-users via Salesforce and SAP
  • Retrieve orders from partner portals and process them into SAP
  • Verify pricing against customer contracts or approved discount matrices
  • Ensure product availability and coordinate with Purchasing for lead times when supply is not available
  • Exercise discretion to prioritize product allocations during supply shortages
  • Provide inside sales support, including interactions with Credit, Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales teams
  • Process customer returns and credit note requests in a timely manner
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, and lead times
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and resolve them efficiently
  • Regularly review backlogs to ensure compliance with company policies, including revenue recognition requirements
  • Complete self-training modules in SAP as needed

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in account management and customer service in high-tech environments
  • Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of international trade principles
