Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Manager to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain knowledge of coding and billing requirements and regulatory changes.
  • Manage overall personnel, performance, and discipline of assigned projects.
  • Provide expertise and leadership in assigned functional areas.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and functions.
  • Manage client interaction and communication.
  • Analyze periodic reports and metrics.
  • Evaluate operational practices and procedures.
  • Support quality initiatives targeting process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance parameters are met during internal audits.

  • Provide direction to staff to ensure problem resolution and set priorities.
  • Collaborate with senior management on planning, implementation, and evaluation/modifications to existing operations, systems, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences, Allied Medicine (BHMS, BAMS, BPT, Dental Grads, Pharmacist, Nursing) or related fields.
  • Certification: AAPC/AHIMA - CCS/CPC/CPC-H/CCS-P certification is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of medical terminology, human anatomy/physiology, and pathophysiology.
  • 10+ years of coding experience with 3+ years as a Team Lead.
  • Ability to manage teams to reach their goals.
  • Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures.
  • Proficient in healthcare reimbursement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to engage employees and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Can work closely with SMEs, auditors, and trainers to identify training needs.
  • Effective one-on-one coaching skills.
  • Ability to monitor absences and daily operations.
  • Able to identify weaknesses and provide educational support.
