Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management practices and be able to demonstrate ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Uplift risk management practices for interconnectivity of processes, controls, obligations, and risks.
  • Support key business activities including Risk Reviews and Risk Reporting.
  • Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements.
  • Perform controls, adhere to process and procedures pertinent to the role, and escalate events, issues, or breaches as they are identified.
Requirements:
  • 7-15 years of financial institution experience, preferably in risk management.
  • Understanding of Operational Risk practices, including obligations, risks, and controls frameworks.
  • Audit background and governance and reporting experience.
  • Technical dexterity in using Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Tertiary or postgraduate degree in Risk, Finance, Commerce, or Law, or related discipline.
