Senior Financial Operations Manager

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Operations Manager to oversee our daily financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and accounting, with the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
• Monitor cash flow, investments, and forecasting, making recommendations to optimize financial performance.
• Manage budgeting processes, supporting cross-functional departmental planning and decision-making.

**Accounting Compliance:**

• Ensure GAAP and local tax regulations compliance, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Timely and accurate filling of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C etc).
• Handle GST audits, assessments, and departmental notices, responding promptly and professionally.
• Ensure timely and accurate income tax return filing, maintaining accurate records.
• Manage statutory tax audits, responding within time limits and resolving issues efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of transfer pricing compliance and documentation, maintaining accurate records.
• Timely and accurate filling of forms and returns with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (e.g, MGT-7, AOC-4, DIR-3 KYC etc).
• Timely and accurate filling with RBI (e.g, FLA return, FC-TRS etc).
• Maintain documentation and records for all FEMA-related transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring smooth execution and resolution of findings.

**Strategic Support:**

• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making, identifying opportunities for growth and cost savings.
• Collaborate with senior management on financial planning and risk management, developing and implementing effective strategies.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement.
• Ad hoc projects and analysis as needed, providing high-quality deliverables on time.

**Team Leadership:**

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
• Ensure continuous improvement in financial processes and systems, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
• Train staff on financial systems and compliance requirements, ensuring accurate and timely execution.

**Qualifications:**

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in financial management and accounting, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards, with a focus on compliance and risk management.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g. NetSuite, Tally etc).
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to manipulate large datasets and provide actionable insights.
