BizOps Engineer Role

As a BizOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and services. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement automated pipelines for reliable and fast software delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion DevOps transformation through tools, automation, and cultural change.
  • Support and enhance CI/CD pipeline to streamline code promotion across environments.
  • Lead system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews for new services.
  • Monitor and maintain service health post-deployment, including availability, latency, and fault tolerance.
  • Practice sustainable incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
  • Identify and eliminate manual processes by introducing automation-first solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize across the full technology stack during production events.
  • Collaborate with global teams, contributing to knowledge sharing and mentoring.
  • Provide feedback to development teams to close operational gaps and improve resilience.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering or system administration.
  • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, system design, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more programming languages: Java, Python, Go, Perl, Ruby, C/C++.
  • Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools: Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Chef, etc.
  • Experience designing and implementing automated pipelines for reliable and fast software delivery.
  • Experience analyzing ITSM metrics and feeding learnings into development processes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment.
  • Appetite for change and the ability to challenge the status quo to continuously improve operations.
