The position of a Quality Assurance Engineer is available at our organization. We are looking for an experienced and skilled professional to join our team in Navi Mumbai.
This role involves testing software applications to ensure they meet the required standards and quality criteria. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated).
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tracking tools e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla.
- Develop testing documents such as STD, STR, SDD, SRS.
- Perform regression, functional, integration, performance, and usability testing.
- Set up and maintain automation frameworks for continuous testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Create and execute appropriate test strategies and processes that align with business objectives and project timelines.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies for quality assurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience 3–5 years as a QA Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit.
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language - Java, Python, JavaScript.
- Experience with version control systems e.g., Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Experience with API testing - Postman, RestAssured.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools - JMeter, LoadRunner.
- Exposure to cloud environments AWS, Azure, GCP and containerised applications Docker, Kubernetes.
Qualifications and Certification:
- B.E / B.tech / MCA
- Certification in QA testing will be an advantage.
