About Automation Tester Role

Automation testers play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests for UI and REST APIs using various tools such as Selenium WebDriver, C#, NUnit, MSTest, xUnit, Cucumber, Postman, or RestSharp.

This requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement and optimize test automation frameworks.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize testing requirements and ensure that testing is integrated into the development lifecycle.

Maintaining and improving existing test suites and automation frameworks is also a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Test Automation Frameworks: Utilize industry-standard tools to design and implement efficient test automation frameworks.
  • Designing Automated Tests: Create comprehensive automated tests for UI and REST APIs to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Test Maintenance and Improvement: Continuously maintain and improve existing test suites and automation frameworks to optimize testing efficiency.
  • Code Reviews and Adherence to Standards: Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
