Cloud Security Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our organization.

This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

  • Develop and maintain Amazon AWS-based cloud solutions using a broad range of AWS services including VPC, EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, AWS CLI, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, AWS Config, Kinesis, Route 53, Dynamo DB, and SNS.
  • Implement identity and access management (IAM) controls to manage user and system access securely.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects and developers to create security solutions for cloud environments by designing security controls and ensuring they are integrated into cloud platforms.
  • Monitor cloud environments for suspicious activities and threats using tools like SIEM systems and implement security governance policies and maintain audit logs for regulatory requirements.
  • Automate cloud security processes using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure secure deployment and configuration.
  • Secure and encrypt data by providing secret management solutions with versioning enabled and collaborate with DevOps, network, and software development teams to promote secure cloud practices.
  • Build backup solutions for running applications downtime and maintain a parallelly running disaster recovery environment in the backend and implement Disaster Recovery strategies.
  • Design and deliver scalable and highly available solutions for migrating applications to the cloud with launch configurations, Autoscaling groups, scaling policies, Cloud watch alarms, load balancers, and Route53.
