Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure.

The role involves working closely with development, DevOps, SRE and security teams to enable efficient delivery of applications and services while ensuring compliance, cost optimization, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, and maintain Azure-based compute offerings based on industry best practices.
  • Manage subscriptions, resource groups and resources following our SaaS-based architecture standards.
  • Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Bicep.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Support application deployment patterns including microservices, APIs, and serverless architectures.
  • Enable containerized workloads using AKS, Azure Container Apps, and ACR.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Manage cost optimization and resource governance policies in Azure.
  • Integrate Azure security best practices including RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, and network security controls.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  • Partner with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver platform capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot issues across Azure environments and provide L2/L3 support.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement.
