Job Description

As a Senior Counsellor, you will play a pivotal role in empowering students to make informed decisions throughout their university application journey. Our platform is designed to provide impartial and free content, as well as expert advice, all in one place.

We aim to break down international barriers and make education global. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing EdTech company that has seen immediate traction, with over one million visitors, and thousands of new users in the last six months.

You will work with students from diverse backgrounds, providing them with accurate and clear information, as well as answering all inquiries. Your passion for helping students and giving them honest advice on studying abroad will be instrumental in driving student success.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Shortlisting universities based on course, rankings, specialization, location preference, and financial ability of the student/parent.
  • Providing impartial and honest advice to students on studying abroad.
  • Developing excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with students.
  • Maintaining good record-keeping at all times in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Representing the company in webinars, seminars, and virtual counseling sessions via Zoom and Google meet.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • Prior experience in counselling students, preferably in the study abroad sector.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and good typing skills.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
