Travel Experience Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Travel Experience Specialist to join our team. As a Travel Experience Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our clients have a seamless travel experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage bookings for domestic and international flights and rail services.
  • Provide information on products and services, including visa requirements, foreign exchange, health regulations, and travel insurance.
  • Handle refund and cancellation of domestic and international air tickets.
  • Coordinate the issuance of tickets with proper deal codes and utilize bonus miles and other rewards.
  • Follow communication scripts when handling different topics.
  • Co-ordinate with clients, implant teams, and servicing teams.
  • Assist in follow-up with invoicing and recoveries.

Competencies:

  • Effective communication skills along with active listening.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and e-traveling platforms.
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
  • Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends.
  • Passionate interest in geography and strong domestic and international travel knowledge.
  • Ability to assimilate information and pay close attention to accuracy and detail.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Graduate with a Diploma in Travel & Tourism is preferred.

Experience:

  • Total 3-5 years of relevant experience with a Travel Management Company is required.
