Site Manager Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager to lead our construction projects in Tamil Nadu.

  • The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring work execution aligns with drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.
  • They will coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitoring and managing resources such as manpower, materials, and machinery efficiently is also a key responsibility.
  • Ensuring timely completion of project milestones as per schedule is another critical aspect of this role.
  • Maintaining site records including daily progress reports, material usage, and work measurement is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will assist in preparing bar bending schedules, measurement sheets, and work bills.
  • Conducting quality checks for concrete, steel, shuttering, finishing works, etc., is also required.
  • Compliance with IS codes, company standards, and safety norms must be maintained.
  • The successful candidate will resolve site-related technical issues in coordination with project managers and consultants.
  • Effective communication with the project team, clients, and management is necessary.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and standards
  • Proficiency in reading drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning tools (preferred)
  • Good leadership and team coordination skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Willingness to work at project sites across Tamil Nadu

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 1 - 3 years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
