Civil Project Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Civil Project Specialist responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Coordination: Assist in preparing construction schedules and work plans, coordinating with design teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day construction activities, supervise subcontractors and site teams to maintain quality and progress, and resolve on-site technical issues.
  • Technical Support & Documentation: Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs, assist in preparing method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals, and maintain updated records.
  • Quality Assurance & Control: Ensure work complies with quality standards, codes, and project specifications, conduct inspections, and coordinate with the QA/QC team.
  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Implement safety practices on-site, conduct safety briefings, enforce personal protective equipment use, and report incidents or safety violations.
  • Cost & Resource Management: Assist in quantity take-offs, monitor material consumption, and coordinate timely procurement and delivery of materials.
  • Communication & Coordination: Attend site meetings, communicate progress, risks, and issues, and maintain strong working relationships with project participants.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with national building codes, IS codes, and construction safety standards.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
