Electrical Engineers are key players in the design and implementation of electrical systems for buildings, infrastructure, and industrial facilities. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that these systems operate safely and efficiently.

To achieve this, they must have a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, electromagnetism, and control systems. They must also be proficient in using various software tools, such as AutoCAD and Revit MEP, to create detailed designs and specifications.

Additionally, Electrical Engineers work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate the installation and testing of electrical systems. They must also be familiar with relevant building codes and standards, such as NEC and NFPA 72, to ensure compliance.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for Electrical Engineers, as they often encounter complex issues that require innovative solutions. They must also possess excellent communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical team members and clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review detailed electrical designs, plans, and specifications for MEP systems.
  • Prepare detailed construction drawings based on knowledge of NEC and NFPA 72.
  • Perform voltage drop calculations and battery calculations for fire alarm systems.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure on-time delivery of projects.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in the MEP field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • AutoCAD, Revit MEP, good command over spoken and written English, self-motivated, and driven.
  • AGI32, DIALux, BlueBeam, MS Office Suite, and exposure to USA and Middle East projects will be a plus.
