The Role of a DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities
  • We are seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site reliability engineering and be able to design, deploy, and manage infrastructure on cloud platforms.
  • The successful candidate will have experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and be proficient in using CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub actions.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or CloudFormation is essential for this role.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS is also required.
  • We are looking for someone who is familiar with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog, and has a good understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
  • A strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration and proficiency in using Git and platforms like GitHub are necessary for this position.
  • Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer are highly desirable.

  • 7-10 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in using Git and platforms like GitHub.
