We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee our iron ore procurement operations.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to join our team as an Iron Ore Procurement Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Management: Source iron ore from miners, traders, and suppliers.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery terms with vendors.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics including rake allotment, port operations, warehousing, and shipping.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Market Trend Analysis: Monitor global and domestic market trends to inform pricing and strategy.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including MMDR Act and Goan mining regulations.
  • Documentation Management: Handle documentation, including LCs, Bank Guarantees, contracts, and customs paperwork.
  • Reporting: Prepare MIS reports, monitor trade P&L, and provide management with timely updates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • 5-10 years of proven experience in iron ore trading and procurement.
  • Deep understanding of iron ore grades (Fe%), lumps, fines, and pellets.
  • Knowledge of mining operations, beneficiation, and logistics.
  • Understanding of Goan mining regulations and clearances.
