Procurement Excellence Opportunity

The ideal candidate will excel in managing vendor relationships, sourcing operations, and cost optimization. A minimum of 24 years of experience in procurement or purchasing is required, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop strategic partnerships with vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to optimize costs.
  • Process purchase requisitions and orders efficiently, ensuring timely procurement of goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other critical data.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishments to prevent stockouts.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.
  • Work within established parameters to ensure responsible budget utilization.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of invoices, contracts, and agreements.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with organizational standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to determine purchasing requirements.
  • Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules with vendors and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 24 years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain procedures and vendor management.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in industry-specific purchasing (e.g., pharmaceuticals, FMCG, electronics, etc.).
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations (if applicable).
  • Certification in supply chain or procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPM, or similar).
