Overview of the Role

This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can take ownership of complex challenges, collaborate with peers, and engage in technical and customer-facing discussions.

You'll drive initiatives that scale our core systems, balance business logic with new innovations, and ensure high reliability and performance across mission-critical components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute with precision: Own technical execution for backend and frontend modules, leading delivery across the team.
  • Scale smartly: Enhance and evolve existing backend systems with scalable architecture patterns and thoughtful refactoring.
  • Drive backend excellence: Architect high-performance services using Java and Spring Boot, built for scale and uptime.
  • Enable observability: Work closely with DevOps to ensure production readiness with robust monitoring and alerting practices on AWS.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with technical peers, product managers, and occasionally with customer-facing teams to ensure alignment of business and tech priorities.
  • Mentor and lead: Grow backend engineering capabilities by providing clear guidance, thoughtful code reviews, and proactive problem-solving.
