Job Title: CPU Physical Design Engineer

Description

We are seeking an experienced Physical Design Engineer to lead our high-speed core development team. The ideal candidate will have significant knowledge of high-speed cores, including CPU, GPU, and DDR.

Responsibilities
  • Develop high-speed cores with a focus on synthesis, constraints, and physical design
  • Collaborate with RTL designers to optimize and refine designs
  • Apply knowledge of silicon margins, VT trade-offs, power, and area impact to improve designs
  • Floorplan multi-core systems, including L2 and L3 caches, and power planning from bumps to package level
  • Analyze critical paths, pipelining, latency, and super buffer implementations
  • Leverage low-power implementation techniques to minimize power consumption
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in physical design, with a strong background in high-speed core development
  • Significant knowledge of high-speed cores, including CPU, GPU, and DDR
  • Experience with synthesis and constraint-driven design methodologies
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in languages such as Verilog, VHDL, and SystemVerilog
