Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Web Development Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of web development principles, experience with content management systems, and a solid understanding of search engine optimization best practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining websites using WordPress CMS architecture. This includes converting design mock-ups into responsive, user-friendly websites, optimizing websites for speed, SEO, and security, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

The role also involves integrating third-party tools (APIs, payment gateways, CRM, email marketing, etc.) and performing regular updates of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress CMS architecture
  • Convert design mock-ups into responsive, user-friendly websites
  • Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and security
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
  • Integrate third-party tools (APIs, payment gateways, CRM, email marketing, etc.)
  • Perform regular updates of WordPress core, themes, and plugins

Required Skills & Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Familiarity with web hosting environments (cPanel, AWS, etc.)
  • Experience working on government websites or large-scale, secure projects (plus)
