We are seeking a seasoned MySQL Database Administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing MySQL databases, ensuring high availability and performance, while also implementing best practices for security and data integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable MySQL database systems.
  • Monitoring database performance and tuning for optimal efficiency.
  • Performing regular database backups and ensuring data consistency.
  • Developing and implementing robust database security measures.
  • Collaborating with developers to optimize database queries and application performance.
  • Troubleshooting database issues and providing timely resolutions.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for database architecture and processes.
Key Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience as a MySQL Database Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of MySQL database architecture and administration principles.
  • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
  • Experience with database backup and recovery techniques.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization strategies for MySQL databases.
  • Familiarity with database replication and clustering techniques.
  • Understanding of data security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
