Job Title: Head of Information Security

At the forefront of information security, we seek a visionary leader to spearhead our enterprise's security strategy and program. As the Head of Information Security, you will be responsible for safeguarding our organisation's information assets and technologies against internal and external threats.

This role demands a comprehensive understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulations, as well as a proven track record of developing and implementing robust information security programs in complex environments.

  • Develop and implement an enterprise-wide information security strategy, policies, standards, and procedures to protect against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of security architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption solutions, and other security technologies.
  • Lead the development and execution of security awareness and training programs to foster a culture of security awareness throughout the organisation.
  • Direct the identification, assessment, and mitigation of security risks across all aspects of our operations, including applications, infrastructure, and third-party vendors.
  • Monitor and analyse security incidents and breaches, and coordinate incident response activities to minimise impact and prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into business processes and systems development life cycles.
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats, industry trends, and best practices in cybersecurity, and assess their potential impact on our security posture.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in information security roles, with a minimum of 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive information security programs in a complex, multi-platform environment.
  • Deep understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulations, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, identity and access management, security operations, and incident response.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
