Data Engineer Role Overview

A senior data engineer plays a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of complex data systems. This professional is responsible for designing, building, and scaling large-scale data pipelines using Airflow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient data workflows using Airflow to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies for optimization
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate data processing tasks
  • Work closely with Snowflake experts to design and implement scalable data architectures
  • Maintain high levels of data quality through rigorous testing and validation
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering with expertise in Airflow and proficiency in Python programming language
  • Strong understanding of data pipeline design and implementation principles
  • Experience working with Snowflake data warehouse and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
