Job Summary:
  • Manage production teams and contract workforces to meet customer expectations while optimizing costs.
  • Develop project schedules with the GM Fabrication on a macro level and execute them with the team, identifying and planning for critical parameters.
  • Report monthly, quarterly, and annual production plans and implement efficient supply processes to meet company objectives by minimizing costs and maximizing inventory turns.
  • Establish systems of procedure (SOPs) for fabrication activities and continuously review and improve procedures and methodologies.
  • Monitor progress, address issues as needed, and assist in resolving equipment/tooling/process issues and implementing 5S principles.
  • Ensure effective and efficient utilization of personnel and equipment, reducing setup and cycle times.
  • Settle technical disputes and clarify project execution details.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in manufacturing heavy fabrication activities.
  • Excellent knowledge in fabricating equipment such as pressure vessels, hydro project equipment, cement, and power plant equipment.
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing drawing studies.
  • Expertise in welding processes like SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and SAW.
  • Knowledge in welder qualification, preparation of WPS, PQR, and WPQR documents.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical problems in manufacturing activities.
  • Extensive knowledge of ASME Sec III, Sec VIII, Sec IX, DIN, and JIS standards.
  • Development and implementation of quality control standards for heavy fabrication activities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of materials such as CS, alloy steel, SS, P11, P22, and P91.
