Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Excellence professional to lead our service improvement initiatives across the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement a world-class manufacturing framework across our pan-India plants to drive efficiency, productivity, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement new support materials, including training programs, reporting tools, and systems enhancements to improve business processes.
  • Monitor project risks to identify potential problems and proactively develop solutions to ensure successful delivery.
  • Identify, report on, and manage business impact and project objectives/dependencies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Lead coaching and project management activities across plants to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate successful delivery and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Improve efficiency KPIs in manufacturing sites by implementing lean methods and process improvements.
  • Take ownership of change initiatives from identification through to project delivery to drive business transformation.
  • Support plant teams in benchmarking, problem-solving, and continuous improvement programs to enhance operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with operations to design, develop, and implement policy deployment within the business.
  • Evaluate ongoing learning and development of employees in Lean improvement tools and communication methods.
  • Counsel and facilitate teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Manage cross-functional team members with excellent verbal and written communication skills to achieve collaborative results.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Excellent understanding of continuous improvement concepts, including Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, project, and product management skills to drive business outcomes.
  • Ability to set up, facilitate, and lead service improvement/workshops with business stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
