Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to design, implement, and manage automation workflows within our VMware environment.

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining VMware vRealize Orchestrator (vRO) workflows to automate IT processes, including provisioning, deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management. You will also be responsible for integrating vRealize Automation with other systems and tools, such as vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and external APIs, to create end-to-end automation workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop vRO workflows to automate IT processes.
  • Integrate vRealize Automation with other systems and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to vRA orchestration.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to IT operations teams.
  • Create and manage Blueprints, publish catalogs, and work with development engineering teams.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in creating Blueprints, publishing catalogs, and creating VRA and VRO workflows.
  • vSphere skills and experience in development.
  • Experience with vRealize Operations Manager, vROPs, and ability to create workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with vSphere vCenter and VRLI.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Ansible, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Knowledge of software-defined networking and security concepts.
