Senior Manager Job Description

The Senior Manager is a key role in our organization, responsible for overseeing the taxation and finance department.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Taxation Management: The Senior Manager will be responsible for ensuring all tax returns are filed accurately and on time. This includes verifying security transaction tax notes initiated from the membership department against STT calculated from clearing data and sending for authorization to the Head of Department. Additionally, they will collate profit and loss information of each company to calculate advance income tax payable and verify a note containing the amount of income tax to be paid by each company on a quarterly basis.
  • Tax Returns Filing and Certificate Issuance:
    • Validate TDS/ST returns. Verify that the total of values in Form 16A matches the total tax liability.
  • Tax and VAT Audits:
    • Prepare the income computation report based on the audit reports and send to consultants/auditors for validation. Handle specific/critical queries from auditors if any.

Skills and Qualifications: To excel in this role, candidates should have excellent communication and analytical skills, with a strong understanding of taxation laws and regulations. They should also have experience in managing teams and working under pressure.
