Business Intelligence Specialist

 

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the management of Management Information Systems (MIS), generate business insights through data analysis, and monitor key performance metrics.

 

  • MIS Reporting and Data Visualization
    • Develop, maintain, and automate MIS reports and dashboards for financial, operational, and business data.
    • Consolidate data into comprehensive presentations and ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all deliverables.

Business Analysis & Insights

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from internal systems and external sources to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights to stakeholders on business growth, cost control, and efficiency opportunities.

Performance Monitoring & Improvement

  • Track business performance against budgets, forecasts, and targets to highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Design and maintain performance scorecards and dashboards for different business functions.

Process Enhancement & Automation

  • Work with cross-functional teams to streamline data collection and reporting processes.
  • Suggest and implement automation opportunities using tools like MS Excel and Power BI.

Key Competencies/Skillsets:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
  • Understanding of financial and operational performance metrics.
  • Attention to detail with ability to interpret large datasets.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Analytics.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in MIS, business analysis, or data analytics.
  • Experience in financial services / investments / payments preferred.
