Job Description

As a Senior Geological Expert, you will play a key role in building and maintaining our geological model to inform development planning and operations.

  • You will be responsible for integrating various geo-science data sources to develop a robust geological understanding of our assets.
  • Additionally, you will provide technical input to support business planning and decision-making, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

The following are the primary responsibilities of this role:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive geological model of our assets.
  • Collaborate with geoscientists and engineers to integrate geological and petrophysical data.
  • Provide technical expertise to support business planning, risk assessment, and decision-making.
  • Work closely with Operations Geology teams to ensure effective drilling and completion strategies.
  • Support Reservoir Engineering teams during dynamic simulation and forecasting.
  • Quality control and assurance of subsurface deliverables from third-party studies.
  • Generate integrated subsurface descriptions and risk matrices to inform business decisions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced degree in Geology or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in geological interpretation and modeling.
  • Strong background in petroleum geoscience, including structural and stratigraphic interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., Petrel, ArcGIS).
