Software Quality Assurance Professional

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) professional to join our team. As an SQA engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to test and validate software applications from high-stakes engineering solutions to control and monitor complex systems.
  • Develop and execute project plans to deliver commitments within a fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand requirements, set priorities, and communicate progress.
  • Drive improvements in software quality practices and methodologies.
  • Oversee the development of new test frameworks and applications to ensure manual and automated test solutions.
  • Contribute to test process, tools, and methodologies for both manual and automated test execution.
  • Interpret requirements for testability and ensure comprehensive test case design.
  • Present test plans to stakeholders for approval prior to execution.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive, implement, and maintain tests in an agile environment.
  • Assess the impact of design changes to determine optimal testing levels.
  • Develop methods and perform load and performance testing.
  • Integrate testing with continuous-integration processes.
  • Troubleshoot systematically to identify failure mechanisms.
  • Ensure proper analysis and documentation of test results.
  • Participate in team retrospectives to recommend and implement improvements to test strategy and planning.
  • Possess excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ensure all testing deliverables are of high quality and compliant.
  • Experience in bug management tools like JIRA.
  • Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices and learn new test and automation techniques.
  • Support cross-functional teams in requirements analysis, design reviews, code reviews, deploying, and maintaining products/tools.
  • Drive automation strategies and ensure test code is of the highest quality.
