Senior Design Verification Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Verification Engineer to lead our verification environment development team.

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing verification environments for complex digital systems. Your primary focus will be on creating thorough test plans, developing and executing tests, and providing high-quality documentation to ensure the successful integration of these systems into our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing verification environments using System Verilog, UVM (Universal Verification Methodology), and C programming languages.
  • Performing RTL simulations using Synopsys and Cadence simulators to verify system functionality.
  • Debugging and resolving problems found by simulations to ensure delivery of high-quality products.
  • Development of transactors, monitors, and models for performance verification to identify potential issues early in the design phase.
  • Implementing performance verification flow including monitoring, synchronization, reporting, and self-checking mechanisms to optimize system performance.
  • Providing full reports of performance metrics and bottlenecks to inform design improvements.
  • Tracking tickets and code releases using a Bug Tracking tool and GIT to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Performing UPF based Power Aware simulations to optimize power consumption and reduce energy costs.
  • Coding Assertion and Functional Coverage bins in SVA (System Verilog Assertions) to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in design verification engineering with a strong background in system design.
  • Strong knowledge of System Verilog, UVM (Universal Verification Methodology), and C programming languages.
  • Experience with RTL simulations using Synopsys and Cadence simulators.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of UPF (Unified Power Format) and SVA (System Verilog Assertions) to stay up-to-date with industry standards.
  • Experience with Bug Tracking tools and GIT to streamline collaboration and workflow.
