Job Description:

As a specialist in custom memory design, you will be responsible for creating optimized layouts of memories at the leaf cell and top-level integration. This includes designing SRAM and Register Files with a focus on efficiency and reliability.

Collaboration with circuit designers is essential to ensure that schematics are accurately translated into optimized layouts. A good understanding of floor-planning, placement, matching, routing, parasitics, and layout constraints is required.

A strong grasp of physical verification checks such as DRC, LVS, ERC, EM, and IR is necessary to identify and debug potential issues. Familiarity with advanced process nodes, particularly those below 5nm, is also beneficial.

Experience in scripting languages like SKILL, Python, or TCL can be advantageous in streamlining the design process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in memory layout design

Experience in either custom-based memories or compiler-based memories

Knowledge of high-performance and/or low-power memory layout optimization techniques
